Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Grace Behavioral Health Center, you will undertake the following responsibilities:

• Act as an advocate for clients, guiding them in accessing essential community resources, social services, and supports that enhance their mental health and overall quality of life.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention to clients, employing evidence-based methods to ensure their safety and emotional stability during challenging situations.

• Develop and maintain accurate, confidential client records, including comprehensive progress notes and individualized treatment plans, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nursing staff, to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to client care.

• Educate clients in the development of coping skills, self-care strategies, and communication techniques, empowering them with tools to effectively manage their mental health.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness and build partnerships that expand referral networks and resource availability.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals facing a wide spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Your expertise and compassion will aid clients in navigating their paths to recovery, fostering resilience and a sense of empowerment throughout their journey.

Qualifications\n

• A current, valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field is required.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health or social work.
