Retail Sales Associate Bakery Assistant Manager

What you’ll do Support the store manager in overseeing day‑to‑day store operations. Open and close the store, including cash handling and end‑of‑day reporting. Supervise, train, and motivate a team of retail associates. Monitor product inventory and assist with ordering and stocking. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are always met. Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally. Act as manager when the store manager is unavailable. Help maintain merchandising, displays, and overall store appearance. What we’re looking for 1–3 years of experience in retail, food service, or a related field. Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Comfortable working mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Knowledge of food safety practices (ServSafe certification a plus). Reliable, punctual, and a team player. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods. Benefits Health insurance.
