Experience Requirements Experience performing MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or other metals. Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings. Knowledge of welding equipment setup, welding techniques, and safe operating procedures. Ability to accurately measure, fit, and prepare materials prior to welding. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift. Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment. Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures.
