Position Summary The new member of the Human Resources team will be experienced in handling a variety of HR and administrative tasks. The Human Resources Generalist will be a highly inventive team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient. The individual will be able to exercise good judgement in all situations with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, while still maintaining a realistic balance among multiple priorities with discretion and integrity. Monday – Friday schedule, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Responsibilities Recruiting including creating and posting positions, screening applications, and conducting interviews Learn and assist with a multitude of Human Resources responsibilities Recruitment tracking Maintain personnel records in accordance with HR regulations in a variety of formats Process enrollments, changes, and terminations of participants in all benefit plans and programs Participate on the Safety Committee and be directly involved in improving employee safety Conduct employee onboarding Analyzing and processing FMLA and Short-Term Disability benefits Handle matters expeditiously and dedicatedly; follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures Succinctly, accurately and efficiently communicate information verbally and in writing Maintain and respect confidentiality of information Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience working in Human Resources field Academic background in Human Resources preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel HR software experience Professionalism in the workplace A friendly personality with a desire to help our internal customers Able to communicate clearly, appropriately, and concisely in verbal and written formats Ability to maintain positive working relationships with employees and vendors Benefits Include 401k with a company match Paid time off Closed Sundays Short-term disability Employee discount Loyalty rewards Employee referral bonus Bekins provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics. #J-18808-Ljbffr Kids for the Future
