Job Title

Responsible for properly packaging and labeling finished products and loading them onto flatbed or enclosed trailers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carries out responsibilities with safety and efficiency as a priority. Prioritizes the well-being of colleagues and actively contributes to the safety program by collaborating, sharing ideas, and voicing concerns. Adheres to training guidelines, policies, and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Proactively identifies and addresses potential hazards.
• May operate on or more of the following: overhead crane, forklift, shag tractor and trailer and other material handling equipment.
• Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing the required safety equipment. Keeps work area neat and orderly.
• Properly complete all routine paperwork and computer data entry related to the job responsibilities.
• Adheres to all quality standards and inspection procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance of assigned machines.
• Capable of working independently or as a team with minimum supervision.

Shift:

• 1st Shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm
• 2nd Shift - 4:30pm - 3:00am

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

Experience:

Must be able to interpret drawings to calculate weights and select appropriate lifting devices. Requires knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, and operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and industrial tractor/trailer units.

Preferred:

Comfortable working at heights up to 14 feet. Strong math skills are essential.
