Position Overview

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound exams, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout each procedure, conveying detailed explanations with kindness
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any technical issues expediently
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records within the electronic medical records system
• Commit to staying abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Qualifications

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preference for completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certification Requirements

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
