Description of Responsibilities

• Execute a diverse range of ultrasound studies, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, providing clear and compassionate guidance throughout
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-quality diagnostic imagery
• Manage and maintain imaging devices, promptly reporting any irregularities or malfunctions
• Properly document procedures and maintain accurate patient records within electronic health systems
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging practices and methodologies

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is a plus

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or comparable
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
