Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during all procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure the delivery of exceptional quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Accurately document all procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records within the digital medical system
• Keep up to date with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical ability in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
