Senior Financial Accountant

HEICO is currently recruiting a Senior Accountant III for its Electronic Technologies Group (ETG) based in Hollywood, Florida. RESPONSIBILITIES Support the preparation of the consolidated financial statements for entities within the ETG Prepare necessary top-sided journal entries for eliminations or adjustments of foreign GAAP to U.S. GAAP Serve as a remote Interim Controller for recently-acquired subsidiaries that lack Controller role Assist with the implementation of internal controls at recently-acquired subsidiaries Drive process and reporting improvements and standardization efforts while maintaining a high level of accuracy Provide financial and operational support to the HEICO subsidiaries Observe the year-end physical inventory counts at the HEICO subsidiaries Conduct financial analysis and prepare supporting schedules for internal and external (SEC) reporting and for use in the preparation of the tax provision and tax return Perform/assist with other duties and special ad-hoc projects REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, Master’s Degree highly preferred CPA license preferred

PUBLIC ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE HIGHLY PREFERRED!

Minimum of three to six years of progressive experience in financial accounting (public and/or industry) Strong general ledger and inventory cost accounting experience a plus Knowledge in areas such as intercompany transactions, financial consolidation of multiple subsidiaries, non-controlling interests, purchase accounting and foreign exchange accounting a plus Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with subsidiary controllers and employees of all levels, including senior management Strong analytical and Excel skills; able to manipulate high volumes of data Highly responsive to customer requirements, with a high attention for detail and accuracy Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team Must be flexible and able to multi-task in a time-sensitive environment This is a great position for someone who loves challenges, thrives in a fast-paced environment, wants to learn about an exciting business and be part of a successful company with potential career opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr HEICO
