Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design individualized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional milestones.

• Collaborate with Multi-disciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, medical providers, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic techniques to facilitate progress outside clinical settings.
• Monitor Progress and Document Outcomes: Keep track of clinical results and modify treatment approaches to help patients stay on path towards recovery.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education or additional certifications post-graduation

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) credential required
