Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour, Mid 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of strong Operating Room experience License: Valid state license preferred; must apply for license if not in hand Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Strong orthopedic skills; no first-timers accepted Description: Position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. Strong orthopedic skills are essential, with general surgery as a secondary focus. Shifts are five 8-hour shifts with start times at 11:00 AM and 2:45 PM. Weekend shifts may be required as needed. On-call availability is required, but only as needed. Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs. Block scheduling can be accommodated. Travel experience is required. The environment includes a variety of surgical cases, including orthopedic surgery. Other specializations may include general surgery, gynecology, urology, and robotics. Experience in the Epic charting system is required. Candidates should have references in hand at the time of application. Compliance with background checks and fingerprinting is mandatory. Proper and timely communication regarding availability and start date is essential.
