Billing Supervisor

We're currently looking for a Billing Lead to join our Revenue Cycle teama critical role that ensures billing accuracy and supports the day-to-day operations of our billing department.As the Billing Lead, you'll split your time between hands-on billing work (80%) and team support functions (20%). You'll work closely with the Billing Manager and/or Supervisor to oversee billing workflows, assist with training, and ensure high-quality outcomes across the team.If you're a detail-oriented, collaborative billing professional ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you!Pay: $27-29/hrSchedule: Mon-Thurs - 8:00am-5:00pm Friday - 8:00am - 2:00pmLocation: West Chester, PAResponsibilitiesSubmit daily insurance claims and follow up on outstanding accountsConduct accounts receivable (A/R) follow-upEnsure timely processing of patient statements, refunds, and collection submissionsMonitor opportunities to collect co-pays, deductibles, and coinsurance at the time of serviceEnter clear and concise notes in the billing system for tracking purposesAct as the first point of contact for billing team questions and supportTrain and mentor new and existing billing staffAssist in distributing workloads and reviewing staff workflowsReview and approve adjustments and patient refundsSupport follow-up on insurance and patient balancesAssist with month-end closing proceduresCollaborate with leadership on process improvement and special projectsQualificationsHigh School Graduate/GED requiredTechnical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree preferredPrevious Healthcare billing and/or Healthcare accounts receivable work experience a plus.Highly organized, detail-orientated, a strong work ethic, and demonstrated teamwork skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent data entry and math skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize responsibilities daily in order to complete all assignments timely and accuratelyComputer literacy skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordService-oriented/customer-centricWhat We OfferWe believe that taking care of our employees and their families is paramount.
