Position Overview Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Denton is a newly built inpatient rehabilitation hospital, jointly operated by Lifepoint Rehabilitation and Texas Health Resources. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will lead the organization through its inaugural phase and beyond, driving clinical excellence, financial performance, market development, and a culture that places patient well‑being at the center of everything. Responsibilities Provide day‑to‑day leadership, including advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to achieve the clinic and financial goals of the organization. Design, develop, and implement a strategic plan that focuses on clinical excellence, financial performance, and market and business development in collaboration with the Board of Managers. Create and maintain operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and systems to meet and exceed the organization’s clinical and financial objectives. Oversee financial structure adequacy, review operating results, compare them to objectives, and take corrective action when necessary. Motivate and lead a high‑performance management team; attract, recruit, retain, and mentor required team members, including physicians. Ensure adequate provisioning of services through referrals, consultations, or contractual agreements; negotiate, administer, modify, and terminate contracts subject to the Board of Managers’ authority. Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, Joint Commission standards, CARF and other rehabilitation specialty accreditations, the Hospital Compliance Plan, and all applicable law. Qualifications Minimum five years of successful healthcare management experience, preferably as a hospital or healthcare facility CEO/COO. Experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred. Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred, ideally in Business, Healthcare Operations/Management, or a clinical discipline. Knowledge of Med‑Surge hospitals and systems (for‑profit and non‑profit) is a plus. Demonstrated passion for superior clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and strong partner relationships.
