As our Assistant Operations Manager in New York, you'll work alongside management to organize daily activity, support colleagues, and keep business priorities moving.

Your Role in the Working Day

• Help assign daily tasks and confirm team priorities.
• Coordinate schedules, internal requests, and follow-up actions.
• Check workflow progress and highlight capacity concerns.
• Support new starters with onboarding and routine procedures.
• Provide practical guidance to colleagues within agreed responsibilities.
• Maintain operational records, trackers, and management updates.
• Monitor supplies, equipment, and resource availability.
• Help resolve everyday issues and escalate complex matters.
• Communicate process changes and support their implementation.
• Suggest improvements that reduce delays or unnecessary work.

A Step Up From Experience You Already Have

Experience in operations, administration, shift leadership, team coordination, or management support is helpful. New York retail, hospitality, and service experience can translate well if you've trained colleagues, organized workloads, or handled competing requests.

We're looking for:

• Reliability, organization, and consistent follow-through.
• Practical problem-solving under changing priorities.
• Confidence using spreadsheets, calendars, and workplace systems.
• Sound judgment about when management approval is needed.

A particular degree or previous management title isn't required.

Learn Alongside Management

Training will cover company procedures, systems, and reporting expectations. You'll build skills in workload planning, team support, and operational improvement, with additional responsibility as you demonstrate readiness.
