Patient Access Clerk
$17 - $20.4 per hourSalemtownhosp
Courses in computer, typing, and English preferred. Experience with patient registration or other healthcare-related departments. Ability to communicate effectively to promote excellent customer service. Emphasis on accurate grammar and spelling. Job Summary Interviews inpatients, outpatients, and Rural Health Clinic patients to obtain correct information and signatures for admission and billing. Provides excellent customer service by being polite and courteous to patients, staff, and visitors. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask. Schedule Full-Time 12-Hour shift Days Vary Holiday and Weekend Rotation Hourly Pay Range $17 – $20.40/hr Actual hourly pay rate depends on experience (DOE).
