Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Luxury Apartments in Newport Beach, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by managing access, verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and assisting residents and visitors with professionalism. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and communicate clearly while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture. This is a driving position.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for residents, guests, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with community policies.
• Maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records as required, and communicate access concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
