Primary Care Physician (PCP)

Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Primary Care Physicians to deliver on-site outpatient primary care at the Hyannis VA Clinic located at 233 Stevens Street, Barnstable, MA 02601. The schedule is typically Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services to Veteran patients Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Perform initial evaluation, treatment, and management of: Minor wound care Respiratory illnesses Gastrointestinal illnesses Burns Musculoskeletal injuries Dermatologic conditions ENT conditions Eye disorders Urologic conditions Manage chronic diseases including: Coronary artery disease Atherosclerotic vascular disease Type I and Type II diabetes Hypertension Hyperlipidemia PTSD Depression Other chronic medical and behavioral health conditions Follow all VA medication management policies and procedures Ensure timely communication of patient test results Document all care in the VA Electronic Health Record (EHR) Select and document appropriate Evaluation & Management (E&M) codes Complete documentation and coding by the end of each patient encounter Participate in quality improvement and performance improvement activities Attend Primary Care staff meetings (biweekly) Attend additional staff meetings as required Complete QA/QI documentation Participate in peer reviews, OPPE, and FPPE evaluations Report patient safety events within 24 hours using the VA Patient Safety Reporting System Follow all infection control and patient safety requirements Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia Current BLS and ACLs through the American Heart Association NPI report printout Active DEA license Has and maintains current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must be able to pass a federal background investigation No sponsorship available All candidates must be able to: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist Lift up to 20 lbs Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance Push/pull with 30 lbs of force All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ansible Government Solutions
