Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting contract opportunity for a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students in a dynamic K-12 environment throughout Lake County, FL. This position requires on-site presence and will operate across private school settings on an itinerant basis. The district is actively searching for a candidate, with an anticipated September start and a contract running through late May. This role provides the chance to make a significant impact by working collaboratively with school teams and students to foster positive behavioral and academic outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active BCBA certification and national board credentials required
• School-based experience highly preferred, though not mandatory for consideration
• Ability to provide behavioral consultation, develop assessments, and implement intervention plans
• Comfortable working as an itinerant professional across multiple school sites, serving various age groups (caseload details to be determined)
• Strong communication, organizational, and training skills to effectively collaborate with school staff and support implementation of behavior strategies
• Must be available during regular school hours, with some schedule flexibility for student transitions if needed
• Willingness to complete the district’s 2-part onboarding and credentialing process

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments, including observation and record review
• Develop and document individualized and classroom Behavioral Intervention Plans
• Deliver staff training on plan implementation, data collection, and behavior strategies
• Provide group and individual behavioral therapy and support
• Monitor, adjust, and report on behavioral program fidelity and outcomes
• Assist teams with social-emotional curriculum rollouts, tiered behavior management, crisis prevention, and de-escalation
