Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• At least two years recent experience in field: Required

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care.
• Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Develops and implements care plans, coordinating care delivery to promote health and safety.
• Evaluates patient progress towards outcomes and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Participates in discharge planning for continuity of care.
