This particular position is for OptumRx for the State of Tennessee, Bureau of TennCare. Candidates must be based in Knoxville, Tennessee or surrounding area.If you are located in or around Knoxville, TN you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:The Provider Liaison Pharmacists responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provider education programs, training, relations and serviceFollow-up after pharmacy audit and audit assistance Academic detailing of prescribers and pharmacy providersTennCare PDL compliance initiatives DUR and Provider Practice Activity follow upEducation and assistance for Providers in working with TennCare Program utilization management programs (i.e. PA requests, attestations, emergency supply)Work closely with client and OptumRx Account Director and Clinical teamYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:BS degree in Pharmacy or PharmDCurrent and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Tennessee3+ years of experience working as a licensed Pharmacist, with at least 1 year working in outpatient and/or retail pharmacyExperience developing and delivering formal presentationsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookAbility to travel locally up to 75% in the Knoxville, TN areaPreferred Qualifications:Medicaid Fee For Service or Medicaid Managed Care experiencePBM experiencePharmacy Network ExperienceTraining ExperienceClient facing or clinical account management experiencePay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
