The Business Office Coordinator is responsible for keeping accurate financial records for the community and coordinating the community business office in partnership with the General Manager.What you will do:
- First contact with residents, family members, and other employees visiting the business office, answering questions or concerns.
- Manage resident charges through our eMenu, and Square software programs.
- Handle petty cash transactions ensuring proper documentation and accountability of company funds.
- Assist in preparation of monthly resident invoicing, enveloping, and distributing in an accurate and timely manner.
- Process vendor invoices for accuracy and timely payments to vendors.
- Review vendor past due statements to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate accounts payable records.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of resident and employee files through timely and organized document management.
- Reviews payroll information for accuracy. Acts as liaison between department heads, General Manager and corporate office regarding payroll matters.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees by preparing and coordinating communications and documentation to ensure a seamless transition into our community.

- Must demonstrate the ability to manage frequent interruptions and shifting priorities while maintaining focus and efficiently returning to tasks.
- The ability to communicate well with persons who are aging or have dementia, family members, and all levels of management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.)
- Payroll and benefits administration is required.
