Medical Office Administrator
Location: Pleasanton, CA

About the RoleWe are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Medical Office Administrator to join an established medical practice in Pleasanton, CA. This is a forward-facing role that serves as the first point of contact for patients, helping ensure a smooth, welcoming, and efficient office experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and check in patients in a professional and courteous manner
Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays
Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Answer and route phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
Coordinate referrals and communicate with other healthcare providers
Support billing and administrative processes as needed
Maintain a clean, organized front office environment
Minimum 1 year of experience in a forward-facing office or retail/customer service role
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable using computers, EMR systems, and office software (tech-savvy)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Spanish bilingual (highly preferred)
CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or Medical Assistant background
Familiarity with navigating the American healthcare system (insurance, referrals, authorizations, etc.)
- Language (Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, etc)
