Work Environment\nThis full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to serve clients from the comfort of your home. However, you will be collaborating closely with fellow healthcare professionals at our outpatient clinic, ensuring comprehensive and cohesive care. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough intake assessments to determine clients' mental health needs, strengths, and challenges, laying the groundwork for effective treatment. \n
- Design and implement tailored treatment plans that align with clients' specific goals, adapting strategies as necessary based on ongoing evaluations. \n
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities, which may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches. \n
- Monitor and document client progress meticulously, proactively adjusting treatment plans to ensure the highest standards of care. \n
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to coordinate and enhance treatment outcomes for clients. \n
- Advocate for clients' rights, working to ensure they have access to necessary mental health services and community resources. \n
- Adhere strictly to ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality, following guidelines set by state licensing boards and professional organizations. \n
Our clients represent a diverse range of backgrounds and mental health challenges. You will be focusing particularly on those dealing with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. By employing modern teletherapy platforms, our LMFTs connect with clients from different backgrounds, thereby breaking down barriers to mental healthcare.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required. \n
- Currently valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York. \n
- A minimum of two years of post-licensure therapeutic experience, with a focus on mood disorders preferred. \n
- Proficiency in implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities especially CBT and DBT. \n
- Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and successful collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers. \n
- A proven track record of achieving positive outcomes in treating mood disorders and managing complex client cases. \n

- Experience with a range of therapeutic techniques tailored for different clients, including individuals with disabilities. \n
- Familiarity with telehealth tools and remote therapy best practices to enhance client engagement and accessibility. \n
- Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate care with various health and social service providers. \n

- Competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload. \n
