As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 05:30 PM Sat06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Employees may have the opportunity to pick up open shifts and work additional hours if desired. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, following site procedures for visitors, contractors, deliveries, and employees. Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and unusual occurrences, and maintain professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid armed guard card or license. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
