Your Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop customized care plans
• Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and episodic health conditions collaboratively or independently
• Advise patients and their families on wellness, preventive care, and effective disease management strategies
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments within your practice authority
• Engage in ongoing patient follow-up and chronic disease management

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation using electronic medical record systems (EMR)

Education Essentials

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Credentials

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Kansas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or related specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure these within 90 days)
