Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid school psychologist certification or license
  • Graduate degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience conducting assessments, creating intervention plans, and collaborating on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication skills for effective virtual collaboration with educators, students, and families
  • Familiarity with FERPA guidelines and ethical standards in school psychology
  • Prior teletherapy or remote work experience preferred, but not required
  • Tech-savvy with reliable internet access and familiarity with online platforms

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform virtual psychological assessments, evaluations, and report writing
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and well-being
  • Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings and 504 planning
  • Offer consultation and resources for teachers, staff, and families to address academic, social, and behavioral concerns
  • Deliver virtual mental health support, including counseling and crisis intervention, as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all legal, ethical, and district-specific guidelines
