Key Qualifications:
- Current certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
- Experience with IEP development, eligibility meetings, and intervention planning
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to provide counseling, consultation, and crisis management services in a school setting
- Comfortable using online platforms for remote assessments and meetings
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local special education laws and procedures
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual evaluations to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop individual education plans
- Provide remote counseling and consultative services to support academic and behavioral success
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to implement evidence-based interventions
- Document services and maintain accurate student records according to compliance standards
- Engage in virtual professional development and maintain up-to-date practice knowledge
