Configuration Documentation Specialist

The Configuration Documentation Specialist is responsible for developing and drawing all TDPs, CCDs, work packages, configuration documents, QQE and technical manual inputs. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

·        All development and drawings for all TDPs, CCDs, work packages, configuration documents, QQE and technical manual inputs

·        Supports all TDP development, drawing updates and final documentation

·        In charge of configuration control for all repair and modification tasks

·        Prepare any relevant reporting to proper chain of command

·        Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and mission focus across the team

·        Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned

 

Requirements & Qualifications

Education:

·        High School Degree Required

·        Associate's Degree Required (preferably in drafting, engineering technology, CAD/design or configuration management) 

 

Licenses & Certifications:

·        Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance

·        AutoCAD/SolidWorks or equivalent

 

Experience:

·        Five to seven (5-7) years of experience in a similar position

·        Experience and deep knowledge base in configuration/data management 

·        Familiarity with AutoCAD/SolidWorks processes and procedures

 

Skills & Abilities:

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·        Ability to monitor and evaluate schedule and financial activities

·        Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments as required

·        Knowledge of correspondence and writing procedures and practices

·        Ability to communicate (transmit and receive) tactfully to ensure accomplishment of functions

·        Ability to hold yourself and others accountable on short-term and long-term goals

·        Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

·        High level problem-solving and communication skills

·        Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

·        Project management principles and practices

·        Ability to work with various levels of personnel including senior leadership

·        Use of Microsoft Office software applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

 

Other:

·        Ability to work onsite 5 days per week with additional hours, as required
