Job Description

• Initiates purchase requisitions for needed materials and supplies and forwards to supervisor.
  • Maintains inventory control and performs inventories.
  
  
  • Receives shipments of goods and checks bills of lading against purchase orders.
  
  
  • Issue clothes to center trainees.
  
  
  • Closes and forwards purchase orders to appropriate department.
  
  
  • Sorting and distributing mail.
  • Reports all missing property as required.
  • Assists custodians in performing quarterly inventories.
  
  
  • Operates office machines.
  • Clearly communicates and consistently models appropriate CSS and employability skills.
  • Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property.
  • Adheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility.
  • Fosters and sustains a conducive environment at the center, ensuring it remains free from harassment, intimidation, and disrespect, thereby ensuring a safe space for both staff and students to engage in work and learning.
  • Attends all required staff training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or General Education Diploma and one year related experience and/or training
• Experience working with youth and adults ages 16-24 in an educational or training setting is preferred
• Data entry experience
• Familiarity and knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
• A valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record
