Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU setting, managing complex medical conditions and utilizing advanced respiratory and diagnostic equipment. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced respiratory support, including all respiratory modes, and perform line insertions such as PICC lines.
• Conduct and assist with specialized procedures like bronchoscopy, LISA, VCUG, MRI, and swallow studies.
• Monitor patient conditions continuously, recognizing signs of deterioration and intervening promptly.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain proficiency in clinical skills and certifications, ensuring all credentials are up-to-date.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CA Registered Nurse license, verified via Nursys within the last 2 weeks.
• Possess at least 1 year of NICU or neonatal nursing experience.
• Certified in BLS and NRP with current expiration dates.
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing PICC line insertions and managing neonatal respiratory support.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and procedural skills in a level III NICU environment.
• Successfully complete onboarding modules within 3-5 days of contract signing.
