Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Durant, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Operating Room (OR) Nurse opportunity in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves circulating duties within the surgical environment, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR personnel to provide safe and effective patient care. The position requires critical thinking, leadership, and adherence to regulatory standards, with responsibilities including equipment preparation, case coordination, and assisting during surgical procedures. The assignment is scheduled to start on 09/14/2026 and will last approximately three months. Job Details: Schedule: Days, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week, with call rotation and holiday requirements. Required Qualifications: Certifications in operating room nursing, valid nursing license, 2 years of OR experience, and experience with Cerner and Surginet Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with surgical scheduling and readiness, working in a surgical environment involving Endoscopy. Float: Float: Float rotation may be required. Additional Information: The role involves floating to the Madill location and surgery units, and working in a high-volume surgical setting with a patient ratio of 1:1. Scrubs are provided, and no blocked schedule or blackout dates for time off are available.
