Role Description The Clinical Wellness Technician is a full‑time, on‑site role based at The Fix Wellness Lounge in Hermosa Beach, CA. This role supports the delivery of wellness and recovery therapies by preparing treatment areas, setting up equipment, and assisting with client intake and session flow. Daily responsibilities include reviewing client information, explaining services and protocols in clear, accessible language, and monitoring clients during treatments to support safety and comfort. The technician documents services accurately, follows clinical and sanitation procedures, and collaborates with wellness practitioners to ensure high‑quality care. The role also involves providing attentive customer service, answering questions about offerings, scheduling follow‑up visits, and contributing to a welcoming, professional lounge environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess knowledge of medical terminology and a foundational understanding of medicine relevant to wellness and recovery settings. Candidates should possess basic laboratory and clinical skills, including safe handling of equipment, adherence to hygiene protocols, and accurate data or sample collection where applicable. Candidates should possess strong communication and customer service skills to clearly explain services, respond to questions, and support a positive client experience. Candidates should possess the ability to follow structured protocols, maintain detailed records, and uphold privacy and confidentiality standards. Relevant experience in a wellness, clinical, spa, or fitness environment is beneficial, along with comfort working in a fast‑paced, client‑facing role. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or certification in health, wellness, or a related field is preferred.
