Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid State License required Certifications: Required certifications Must-Have: Compact license must be in hand at submission. Ability to work every other weekend (Friday and Saturday) is necessary. Description: Registered Nurse position available for Medical Surgical specialty. The position will require floating between units based on needs. No on-call coverage is required. The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4. Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Travelers may be asked to float to other units and facilities to meet patient care needs. Weekend shifts will be mandatory every other weekend. The facility operates as a Short Term Acute Care hospital with a total of 536 staff beds. Scrub color is flexible with any color acceptable. Charting is completed using a specified electronic system. Interdisciplinary support includes various specialized teams. Patient age groups served include adults and geriatrics. Daily census for the unit averages around 37 patients. The position requires experience with various patient management skills and procedures. Applicants must be prepared to handle diverse patient cases and necessary medical interventions. References will be required during the compliance process. Candidates will need to commit to working specific holidays as outlined. Inflexibility regarding scheduled work hours may result in contract termination.
