Production Technician II - Molding (2nd Shift)

Production Technician II for injection molding operations at a medical device manufacturer. The role involves setting up molds, optimizing machine performance, leading changeovers, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining GMP compliance and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up molds and configure robots, thermolators, and workstations to specifications
- Operate molding machines and perform adjustments to maintain validated parameters and cycle times
- Lead mold changeovers and direct shift operations in supervisor absence
- Monitor production output and report downtime, scrap, and efficiency metrics
- Drive continuous improvement through LEAN initiatives, 6S standards, and GMP audits
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years injection molding experience preferred
- Mechanical proficiency and computer skills
- Knowledge of LOTO procedures and lockout/tagout practices
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- RJG Systematic 1 Molding Certification preferred
- Flexibility to work overtime and variable shifts
Compensation: $36,800-$46,000 annually
