You will play a key role in developing and generating CREO layouts, detailed drawings, and design documentation, ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will include: * Developing and generating CREO layouts and detailed drawings for ICDs, components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and integration test articles * Building BOMs, creating parts, assemblies, and design documentation within Windchill PLM * Coordinating with the IPT team, suppliers, GSC, electronic packaging, optics, and structural/thermal/material analysts to ensure design excellence * Managing drawing releases, responding to CRs, generating CN's, and presenting/supporting change boards and design reviews * Performing design trade studies to evaluate cost, weight, and performance, including the creation and maintenance of mass properties sheets for test vehicle and tactical configurationsBasic QualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited university in an Engineering related fieldComprehensive understanding of mechanical design engineering principles and demonstrated knowledge of industry practicesKnowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5 and ability to perform complex detailed part and subsystem tolerance analysisMinimum 3 years experience with Creo or similar 3D computer-aided design softwareHave the ability to generate engineering drawings, documents, parts lists and specificationsHave the ability to work with minimal oversight or supervisionHave the ability to lead investigative efforts and report status to interdisciplinary teamsHave the ability to generate 3D mass properties and (mass, center of gravity, and moments of inertia) for complex configurationsDesired SkillsHands‑on experience with machining, rapid prototyping, or lab equipment (CNC, 3‑D printers, test rigs)Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with Model-Based Definition (MBD).Experience with aerospace hardware such as structures, optical or radio frequency (RF) sensors, energetics, propulsion, or flight control systems.Experience with phases of aerospace systems lifecycle from proposal and capture efforts, development, transition to production, production, and sustainment.Experience generating mass properties statements and trade studies for various configurationsPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
