Requisition ID: 11710ERP Eligible?: YesERP amount: $50 LMRecognitionRelocation: NoType: ExemptShift: 1Clearance Prior to Start: NoneFinal Clearance: NonePay Transparency: $85,300.00 - $158,300.00Experience Level: Experienced ProfessionalFT/PT/Casual: FullTimeDepartment: RMS ManufacturingBusiness Unit: RMS ManufacturingStandard Job DescriptionLead and mentor the MARS (Machine Shop, Additive, Rack, System Level) Industrial Engineering team, setting technical direction, prioritizing workload, and developing associate engineers and new hires into fully capable IE contributorsChampion technology insertions and automation opportunities that improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery within the value streamDrive factory layout, line balancing, and capacity planning to optimize flow, reduce span time, and support production ramp across the MARS footprintPartner cross-functionally with Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Program Management (PMT), and Facilities to align IE initiatives with production and program prioritiesEstablish and track key performance metrics (throughput, capacity, efficiency, span) and translate data into actionable improvement projectsLead continuous-improvement and lean initiative; identifying bottlenecks, eliminating waste, and standardizing processes across MARS work centersCoordinate capital and facilities projects tied to MARS layout changes, equipment moves, and work-center reconfigurationsBasic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field, with 5 years of professional experience- MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)- Capable of leading improvement / optimization projects- Experience with statistical analysis and data analytics- Familiarity with SAP or a related manufacturing systemDesired Skills- Prior lead / team-lead experience in a production environment- Familiarity with machining, additive, and test operations- Lean / Six Sigma certification or equivalent CI experience- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment- Excellent verbal/written communications skills- Experience with analytical tools (Tableau, PowerBI)Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
