Project Management Specialist

Job Title: Project Management Specialist Job #: PMS0724 Responsibilities: Analyze operational data and capacity forecasts to identify service bottlenecks and develop process improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and service performance. Coordinate with warehouse operations, logistics partners, and customer service teams to ensure alignment of operational objectives and adherence to service standards. Prepare and present operational reports, performance metrics, and updates to management to support strategic planning and decision-making. Utilize project management tools, including Microsoft Project and Gantt charts, to plan, schedule, and monitor timelines, resource allocation, and workflow execution across cross-functional teams. Perform risk assessments and cost-benefit analyses to identify operational risks and recommend solutions to improve cost efficiency and budget control. Coordinate with internal departments and third-party logistics providers to support the execution of logistics-related initiatives, including order fulfillment, freight forwarding, transshipment, customs clearance, and returns management. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of documentation and collaborate with carriers and service vendors to minimize delays and maintain compliance with applicable regulations. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or a closely related field. 24 months of experience as a Project Management Specialist or related position within the international logistics industry. Working knowledge of project management in international logistics execution, warehouse operations, and customs compliance requirements. Experience using project planning and scheduling tools (e.g., Gantt charts, Microsoft Project, or similar tools) to support operational project coordination. Familiarity with R.
