Event Coordinator

We are seeking passionate, driven, and highly motivated Events Coordinator to help us execute our enterprise conference & event schedule and continue our rapid growth across the U.S. As an Events Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the operations of our events marketing plan by initiating communications with conference vendors, asset suppliers, and organizing logistics therein. You will collaborate closely with the Events Marketing Manager, the Partnerships Managers, and the Enterprise Sales Manager to understand their field sales needs and provide support to meet their lead acquisition requirements at trade shows and conferences.. This role requires a highly-organized, operational thinker with a commitment to strengthening a thriving events business. This is a part-time/contract role with a required commitment up to 10 hours/week. Hourly pay between $35 - $45/hr depending on experience. **This a remote-based position in the Eastern or Central timezone but preference will given to candidates local to New York City or Chicago** Duties include: Communicating with conference vendors to obtain the sponsorship prospectus Updating the Event Marketing Plan doc Creating the Slack channel for each conference Registering IW sales reps in the show dashboard Sending calendar invites to the reps Creating the Show Info Doc (from the calendar invite) Ordering material handling, labor, electrical with the conference vendor (decorator) Shipping banners & swag from Kotis Helping the conference reps complete outbound paperwork & tracking back to Kotis at show close Creating the leads spreadsheet via Claude & Clay (not uploading to SFDC) Reordering Swag (when Kotis inventory is low) Our Values Empathy, Trust & Candor We put ourselves in the shoes of our colleagues and customers and don’t shy away from uncomfortable conversations, instead building trust through honest and direct feedback.
