The Assistant Property Manager plays a vital role in supporting the management of multiple properties within a medium-sized team environment. Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, this position involves frequent travel between properties to ensure smooth operations and excellent tenant relations. The role offers valuable growth opportunities, including advancement to Property Manager and cross-departmental career paths.

 

Responsibilities

• Manage tenant relations to ensure high satisfaction and retention
• Administer lease documentation and renewals
• Coordinate maintenance requests and oversee timely completion
• Collect rent payments and manage delinquencies
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain standards
• Assist with budgeting and expense tracking
• Oversee vendor relationships and service agreements
• Resolve tenant complaints promptly and professionally
• Generate reports on property performance and operations
• Support marketing efforts to attract and retain tenants

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in property management
• Familiarity with property management software
• Strong skills in tenant relations and lease administration
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities
• Basic understanding of budget management
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organizational skills
