Scientist I, Analytical Operations Outsourcing

Scientist I position managing outsourcing activities for analytical work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Serves as primary liaison between internal teams, quality assurance, procurement, and external service providers while ensuring compliance with GMP requirements and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact between internal teams, QA, operations, procurement, and external service providers
• Coordinate and monitor outsourced analytical work from request through invoice verification
• Support identification, evaluation, and qualification of external service providers
• Author, verify, and archive documents in GMP-compliant environment
• Support investigations and manage changes following applicable processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years experience, or Master's degree with 5+ years experience
• Minimum 2 years pharmaceutical industry experience with analytical or formulation development exposure
• Thorough theoretical and practical understanding of analytical science discipline
• Knowledge of GMP requirements and regulatory guidelines
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Power BI
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities
