This role is based in a closed-door Long Term Care facility (non-customer-facing). Omnicare®, a CVS Health company, is a national leading provider of pharmacy services to the long-term care market, which includes skilled nursing facilities and independent and assisted living communities, addressing the needs of an aging population across the continuum of senior care.

As a pharmacist, you will play a critical role in supporting our Omnicare patients, providers and business.

You Will:

• Ensure accurate entry of orders
• Maintain security of the pharmacy
• Adhere to required delivery schedules
• Verify orders entered by technician staff for accuracy.
• Check for completeness and precision of all new and refill labels and orders.
• Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling.
• Preparation and/or supervision of sterile IV drug products or solutions, if required.
• Assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.
• Knowledge of DEA and state law with regards to controlled drug dispensing.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage during scheduled rotation based on the needs of the business.
• Follow all applicable state and government regulations including HIPAA.
• Other duties as assigned (these vary by location).

This pharmacist will be an integral member of the pharmacy team. Your success will be driven by your ability to lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and service. The most successful pharmacists demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to prioritize the workflow. The contributions you will make as a Pharmacist in this role will position CVS Health as a leader within the LTC marketplace.

This is a part-time position; the schedule will be based on the needs of the business. Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm, 10am-6pm, or 12pm-8:30pm. Saturday and Sunday 10am-3pm.

Required Qualifications:

Must be a licensed pharmacist in the state of South Carolina, must be active and in good standing

Preferred Qualifications:

Long Term Care pharmacy experience

IV Certification or experience

Immunization certification or willingness to become immunization certified

Education:

Bachelors of Science Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD

Anticipated Weekly Hours: 20

Time Type: Part time

Pay Range: The typical pay range for this role is: $45.43 - $76.15

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
