Job Title Chief, Economy-wide Statistics Division Job Description The Chief, Economy-wide Statistics Division will be responsible for: Planning or reviewing proposed plans and directing continuous economic research programs to determine the nature and extent of needs for service statistics by Federal, state and local governments, business and market research groups and organizations to keep the work of the division responsive to government, business and trade developments needs for information. With the aid of a technical staff, planning an integrated program of current statistics and benchmark Census statistics to reflect the nature of the covered economic sectors and the needs of users of the data; and recommends to the Associate/Assistant Director for Economic Programs improvements and changes in the broad overall program to be undertaken by the division. Modernizing and determining the content of the economic and government censuses and surveys; providing input to edit strategies, imputation strategies, and micro and macro analytic requirements; conducting user acceptance testing; providing input to and participates in testing of content; conducting data analysis; determining, developing, and approving data products to disseminate; conducting analytical research; preparing analytical reports and special studies; and interacting with data users and respondents.
