Through a robust stakeholder feedback loop and supported by consistent processes and leadership, we take pride in delivering responsive, fair, and professional service with empathy and efficiency.How you will create an impactReview, investigate, and manage War Hazards Compensation Act (WHCA) claims in compliance with federal regulations, contractual obligations, and company policies.Evaluate claim documentation, including medical records, employment records, incident reports, and insurance policies, to determine eligibility for recovery under the War Hazards Compensation Act and pursue reimbursement opportunities when appropriate.Partner with employers, legal counsel, government agencies, vendors, and medical providers to obtain necessary documentation, address claim discrepancies, and support timely claim resolution.Verify the accuracy of benefit calculations, reimbursement amounts, and recoverable expenses to ensure appropriate claim outcomes.Maintain detailed and organized claim files, documenting investigations, decisions, supporting evidence, and claim activity throughout the lifecycle of the claim.Ensure all claim information meets AIG standards for data quality, accuracy, and integrity.Identify claim trends, emerging patterns, and opportunities for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency and drive positive business results.What you'll need to succeedStrong claims investigation, research, and analytical skills.Experience with recovery and reimbursement processes is preferred.Working knowledge of workers' compensation claims, including applicable legal, regulatory, litigation, and procedural requirements.Familiarity with the Defense Base Act (DBA) is preferred but not required.Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Proven case management, time management and organizational skills.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement practical solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Innovative and forward-thinking mindset, with a passion for identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational effectiveness.Proficiency in claims management platforms and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Ability to support business objectives through timely completion of weekly, monthly, ad hoc reporting, and special project assignments.Self-motivated team player who can work independently while contributing to a collaborative and results-driven environment.Ready to step up to new challenges?
