Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures across standard protocols, including trauma imaging, with emphasis on patient safety and comfort.
- Operate CT scanners (including GE Revolution 256-slice or Siemens Flash 128-slice systems) and adjust parameters to optimize image quality.
- Properly position patients, administer contrast per protocol, and monitor patients during imaging for safety and quality.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support interpretation and ensure timely, accurate imaging results.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards, dose optimization practices, and infection control procedures; conduct basic QC checks on equipment.
- Document procedures accurately, ensure correct patient identifiers and procedure coding, and maintain required records.
- Execute credentialing requirements as scheduled (creds due by the stated timeline) and participate in the planned orientation.

Requirements
- Certifications: ARRT CT Certification; BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Licensure: KS Board of Healing Arts license or eligibility; candidates may apply for KSBHA upon offer
- Experience: Recent Level 1 trauma center CT imaging experience
- Other: Able to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends; capable of functioning in a fast-paced hospital/trauma environment
- Credentialing readiness: planned credentialing timeline with credentials due prior to start
