Interventional Radiology Technologist (Radiology Tech) travel assignment in Kansas City, KS, US. Start date: 06/28/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,814–$3,056 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 4x10-hour days. Setting: hospital-based interventional radiology department with a high patient volume and a siloed room setup. The position may float to other IR locations within the health system. Typical equipment includes Siemens Artis systems in single-plane configurations. Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures under physician guidance, including access, catheter placement, device manipulation, contrast administration, and patient monitoring
- Scrub, circulate, and assist with sterile technique during IR interventions; ensure proper room setup and documentation
- Operate imaging equipment (Siemens Artis systems) and maintain image quality, patient positioning, and radiation safety (ALARA principles)
- Promote patient safety, monitor vitals as required, and coordinate with the IR team, nursing, and anesthesia for procedural flow
- Complete required documentation, maintain equipment logs, and assist with room turnover; participate in cross-site coverage as needed

Requirements
- Current ARRT Radiography license (in-hand)
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (can apply after offer)
- 2 years IR experience with scrub capability required; 3 years preferred; large hospital experience with peripheral and neurovascular experience desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced IR environment; experience with Siemens Artis systems preferred (single-plane)
- Willingness to float to other IR locations within the health system
- On-call requirements: as needed
- Orientation: must attend scheduled orientation sessions prior to start
