Location: University of Kansas Hospital, Kansas City, KS

Start Date: 03/15/2026

Shift: Day shifts, 10 hours (Monday – Friday)

Hours/week: 40

Employment Type: Contract

Experience Required: 2+ years in IR, scrub experience

Certifications: ARRT Radiography, Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (must be in hand)

Special Requirements: Large hospital experience, peripheral and neurovascular skills preferred

Pay package: Competitive pay packages, paid weekly via direct deposit

Perform IR procedures using Siemens systems (Artis icono, Artis Q, Artis Zee)

Assist with neurovascular, thyroid biopsies, and other advanced procedures

Operate 7 imaging rooms handling a high patient throughput (60-65 cases daily)

Ensure patient safety and comfort during interventions

Collaborate with the healthcare team in a fast-paced, siloed environment

Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain sterilization standards

Provide support during neuro overflow cases and outpatient procedures

Required:

• Valid ARRT Radiography license
• Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (must be in hand for submission)
• At least 2 years of interventional radiology experience
• Strong scrub skills in IR settings

Preferred:

• 3+ years of IR experience in large hospital environments
• Experience with peripheral and neurovascular procedures
• Flexibility to float within the hospital as needed

This assignment is at a leading hospital in Kansas City, featuring a fast-paced, high-patient-volume IR unit. You will work across 7 rooms managing a variety of procedures, including outpatient and neuro cases, with a focus on efficiency and patient care excellence. The facility operates seamlessly with state-of-the-art Siemens systems and provides an excellent environment for experienced IR Radiologic Technologists.
