This role operates in a remote setting, providing flexibility while ensuring comprehensive care for our clients. Our outpatient office, which may be visited occasionally for certain meetings or training sessions, is located in Buffalo, New York.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to clients' specific needs.

• Assess clients' needs through thorough evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans to address mental health goals effectively.

• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and family systems therapy, to assist clients in navigating their challenges and achieving mental wellness.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, progress, and treatment outcomes within our electronic health record (EHR) system to comply with regulations and provide high-quality care.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to each client's care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will encompass working with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relational discord, and family-related issues. You will be instrumental in guiding couples through challenges, helping families improve communication and conflict resolution strategies, and supporting individuals in their personal development journeys. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Current and valid License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.
