Front Desk Supervisor

Job Details Location: Santa Monica, CA 90403 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $26.00 - $29.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Shift: Any Job Category: Hospitality - Hotel Responsibilities Supervise the front desk during assigned shifts, including check‑in and check‑out of guests. Answer phones, handle reservations, and respond to guest requests in a timely manner. Maintain and enforce company standards regarding operational processes and procedures at the front desk. Escalate guest concerns and complaints appropriately, involving the Front Office Manager when necessary. Manage daily guest services functions, including billing confirmation, upselling, and special requests such as wake‑up calls, restaurant reservations, tours, spa services, and event tickets. Support hotel guests, providing local knowledge of restaurants, nightlife, museums, and attractions. Ensure a seamless guest experience by utilizing Hilton Reservations Systems software and Microsoft Office applications. Qualifications At least three years of front‑desk experience, with a minimum of one year in a supervisory role at a four‑star or five‑star hotel. Experience with Hilton software (OnQ, R&I, GRO, etc.) and proficiency in Microsoft Office. High school diploma or GED required; degree or certification in hospitality or hotel management preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent organizational, time‑management, and attention‑to‑detail abilities. Ability to maintain regular attendance and work a full‑time hospitality schedule, including weekends and holidays. Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds, stand, walk, and perform tasks involving moving, stooping, and kneeling. Strong sense of customer service, integrity, and a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism. Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance options.
