Senior Vice President, Specialty Mortgage Finance

We’re hiring a Senior Vice President, Specialty Mortgage Finance to build and integrate specialty mortgage finance capabilities that complement our Mortgage Purchase Program, Warehouse Lending platform, and broader mortgage banking franchise.

This role is ideal for a senior mortgage finance leader with deep industry expertise, strong commercial judgment, and an entrepreneurial mindset. You’ll help develop solutions across mortgage servicing rights (MSR) financing, servicing advance financing, GNMA Early Buyout (EBO) financing, and related liquidity and deposit opportunities while partnering across the organization to build a scalable and disciplined specialty finance capability.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and execute specialty mortgage finance strategies and a practical product roadmap aligned with client demand, balance-sheet capacity, operational readiness, and risk appetite
• Structure complex financing solutions and pricing approaches based on client liquidity needs, collateral, repayment sources, market conditions, and Bank risk parameters
• Partner with relationship managers and business leaders to deepen existing client relationships and identify new opportunities
• Work with Treasury to identify related operating, custodial, escrow, and other core deposit opportunities
• Establish scalable processes for client onboarding, transaction execution, portfolio management, reporting, monitoring, and governance
• Monitor portfolio performance, client and counterparty concentrations, collateral trends, liquidity needs, transaction economics, and emerging risks
• Partner across Credit, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Treasury, Capital Markets, Servicing, Operations, MPP, and Warehouse Lending to establish sound controls and execution
• Serve as a senior subject matter expert on specialty mortgage finance products, market developments, client needs, and competitive dynamics
• Represent Northpointe externally as a credible and knowledgeable mortgage finance partner

What You Bring:

• Significant senior-level experience in mortgage finance, commercial banking, investment banking, warehouse lending, mortgage servicing rights, servicing advance financing, or a related specialty finance sector
• Deep knowledge of residential mortgage originators and servicers, secondary and servicing markets, and mortgage company liquidity needs
• Experience developing, structuring, executing, or managing specialty finance products, complex financing facilities, or portfolios
• Strong commercial judgment and balance-sheet acumen across credit, capital, liquidity, funding, profitability, deposit value, concentration, and risk-adjusted returns
• Executive-level communication and relationship-management skills with credibility among mortgage banking executives, capital markets leaders, and servicing operators
• Ability to influence and execute across business lines and control functions without relying solely on direct reporting authority
• An entrepreneurial mindset balanced with disciplined risk judgment, collaboration, accountability, and an enterprise-first perspective
