HR Coordinator

We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support core people operations for a Contract position based in Arlington, Virginia. This role will help create a smooth employee experience by managing onboarding activities, maintaining accurate HR records, and supporting compliance-related processes. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment with confidential information, and the ability to keep multiple administrative priorities moving efficiently.Responsibilities:• Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding activities, including document collection, orientation scheduling, and timely completion of onboarding steps.• Administer background screening processes and follow up with candidates, recruitment teams, and vendors to ensure clear and efficient communication.• Maintain employee information within HR systems, keeping records accurate, current, and aligned with company policies.• Support day-to-day HR administration by preparing employment documents, tracking status updates, and responding to routine employee inquiries.• Assist with compliance efforts by organizing required documentation, monitoring deadlines, and helping ensure adherence to HR policies and regulations.• Partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate a consistent and positive onboarding experience for new employees.• Review personnel files and HR data for completeness, accuracy, and proper handling of confidential information.
